Pastor Brock Goetsch
Pastor Brock has had many opportunities to serve the Lord in a variety of ways. Upon his graduation from West Coast Baptist College he began working on the staff there as a professor. In 2010, he had a burden to return to school and get a Masters Degree. He began attending Peidmont Baptist University through their online program. During this time he had the opportunity to help start the Family Life Chaplain program within the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. For the next two years he would have the opportunity to help families through counseling and seminars. In 2012 Brock returned to full time ministry as a youth pastor and in May of this year became Senior Pastor at Moran Baptist Church.
Bro. Mike Manor brings energy and fun to camp at a whole new level. Before he became a Christian, he worked in the entertainment field, including stints with Walt Disney World, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Steak and Ale Restaurants, and Holiday Inns. After his salvation in 1975 he surrendered to preach three years later. He then served on the program staff for various camps and known for his crazy fun songs on his guitar. The Manors reside in South Carolina.
A Chicago native, Laurie was born again as a child at her home while her mother was hosting a Backyard Bible School. She attended Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO for one year, and married her high school sweetheart, Bruce. Together they have been in ministry since, 1974, and serving at Sauk Trail Baptist Temple in Richton Park, IL since 1976. Bruce & Laurie have five daughters and eleven grandchildren.
Dr Johnny Pope
Dr. Pope is in constant demand by churches and conferences coast to coast, and spanning the globe. He is the Pastor of Christ Church Baptist Fellowship in Houston Texas. His ministry is not only characterized by faithfulness and integrity, but defined by a vibrant prayer life and a reputation for rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Dr. Pope studied for the ministry at Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana. Upon graduation, he and his wife, Barbara, spent 10 years in evangelism along with a short tenure on the faculty of Hyles-Anderson. Dr. and Mrs. Pope have been married since 1973, and have four children.
Kurt and his wife Wanda moved to Pennsylvania in 1996 when he answered the call to pastor at Harvest Baptist Church. Pastor Skelly is a featured speaker at Bible conferences, revivals, youth conferences, and teen camps across the United States and abroad. He is known for his energetic, substantive preaching. The Skellys have four children: Nathaniel (who married Charity Batayola in 2012), Joshua, Caleb, and Hannah and reside in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania.
Justin serves as the Pastor at North Hills Baptist Church in San Marcos, CA. He grew up in ministry in the beautiful area of Northern California. After graduating from Bible College, Justin and his wife Michelle went back to their roots and ministered at their home church in American Canyon, CA. He then served for a time in Austin, TX as an assistant pastor before moving back to California. They have four beautiful children that enjoy serving in their church. Justin possesses a gift to connect with all age groups. His humor joined with his heart for young people make him a great speaker all ages.
Ron DeGarde graduated from Bob Jones University in 1996 and 1998 with both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Bible. He traveled with Minutemen Ministries conducting youth rallies nationwide for two years and has been traveling in evangelism independently since 2002. He also served on staff at the Wilds Christian Camp for nine summers and two years full time. After finishing seminary, Ron married Kristin Scherbenske who is a gifted pianist, arranger, and composer. Kristin received her Bachelors degree in Music Education as well as a Masters degree in music composition from Bob Jones University. The DeGardes make their home in Charlotte, North Carolina and Ron serves as the staff evangelist at Bible Baptist Church. They are excited to see God’s power not only in their marriage and family, but also in their ministry.
David Corn graduated from Bible college with a Pastoral Ministries degree and music minor in 2007. He then went on to get 3 Masters: Bible Exposition, Educational Administration, and Master of Divinity. Since the summer of 2005, God has allowed him to travel as a Youth Evangelist. The summer of 2012 was his 8th summer to travel holding youth rallies and VBS. He traveled full-time with Evangelist Dave Young for over 3 years. Now God has called him and his wife Joy to travel full-time on there own. God has given him the privilege to preach and do illusions for teenagers and children almost every week and through this God has allowed them to see hundreds of young people saved!
For 13 years Andy served as the Student Ministries Pastor at Burge Terrace Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN before launching into evangelistic ministry in August 2014. He graduated from Bob Jones University in 2001, with a degree in pastoral studies and soon after completed a Masters of Ministry degree from Northland International University while serving at Burge Terrace.In addition to preaching the gospel, Andy enjoys writing new hymns for the church that exalt Christ and His cross.
In June of 2010, Bro. Langston and his wife planted Junction City Baptist Church in Junction City, KS, where he now serves as the pastor. He grew up in a Christian home and was saved at a young age. Adam was in Bible College when the Lord called him to the ministry of church planting. It is the Langstons burden and desire to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ through planting more churches in America and around the world, winning as many people as they can to Christ, and equiping Christians for the work of the ministry.
Richard King is the pastor at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Grand Island, NE. Pastor King is a seasoned preacher who speaks frequently at retreats, conferences, and colleges. For the past 35 years he and his wife have been instrumental in starting churches throughout the states, and they are currently in the ministry of helping struggling churches. The King’s have two children that are actively serving the Lord.
Jame is no stranger to ministry. She accepted the Lord as personal Savior at the age of 7, and as a teen she began ministering to others by working on a church bus route in Virginia and helping with children’s ministry. She has always loved to sing which is probably why the Lord allows her to reference the Psalms so often in her teaching. At Bible College where she and Jon met, she traveled with a singing group, ministering to families across the country. Jon’s first ministry opportunity brought them to Michigan where he served as a youth pastor, which of course meant many opportunities to teach and minister to ladies and children for Jame’. Because of their love of singing, the Lord has allowed them numerous opportunities to minister with music with their two daughters. In 2006 they moved to Camp CoBeAc in Northern MI, where Jame had the joy of assisting with ladies ministries including Women Counseling Women taught by Debi Pryde. She then had many opportunities to speak to church ladies groups for Mother/Daughter banquets and their ladies’ conferences. When she can find some spare time, she loves to garden, and she is now enjoying life with grown children as well.
Pastor Metsinger grew up in a preachers home in Kansas. He attended Heartland Baptist Bible College of Oklahoma City, OK, where he received Christ as his Savior and was called to preach. In 2002, Pastor Metsinger married his college sweetheart, Melissa. In August of 2003 Pastor Metsinger served as Associate Pastor at Eastside Baptist Church under Pastor Phil Spencer in Sioux Falls SD. God led Pastor Metsinger & his family to South Knollwood Baptist Church in August of 2006. Pastor Metsinger is grateful for the spiritual growth the Lord has allowed them to see within the church family as well as the many souls that have been saved and added to the church.
Adrian Burden is from Morehead City, NC, and was saved in a Junior Service at Grace Baptist Church. God called him to preach at the age of 16 at The Wilds camp. At 17, God led him to Pensacola Christian College where he graduated with his Masters of Biblical Exposition. During College he was a counselor at the Bill Rice Ranch, traveled as a youth evangelist, and assisted a church planting ministry in Mobile. After graduation, he became a Rock of Ages Missionary working in prisons and detention centers across the southeast. Now God has led him to open up an evangelistic board called Burden Ministries. His heart is to reach the young people of our generation. It is his desire not only to preach to them, but to invest his life into them, as well.
Michael graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in youth ministries. It was there that he met his wife Candace, who grew up in West Columbia, South Carolina. Michael and she were married on July 31, 1999. For the next five years the couple served in two different churches as the youth pastor and a Christian school teacher. In January 2005, the Wessbergs joined the Tozour Evangelistic Team to start a children’s ministry and assist in music with Rich and Angela. They also joined Eagle Heights Baptist Church. The Wessbergs have five children: Zachariah, Andrew, Chloe, Evy, and Lilly.
Bro. Jones serves as the pastor of Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado, KS. He was raised in a pastors home, and has been actively involved in ministry most of his life. The Lord has blessed Ron with the ability to connect with all ages. Jeremy Frazor is known as a dynamic Bible teacher and preacher with a deep passion for reaching people with the gospel. After traveling with Steve Pettit for five years, he and his wife Misha began traveling on their own in evangelism. Jeremy leads the Frazor Evangelistic Team, which includes his family and a group of young adults, that serves local churches throughout the U.S. and around the world. After serving as Pioneer Village Director for many years, Jeremy is now a featured speaker at many summer camps.
Dr. Dave Hansen is the senior pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church and administrator of Immanuel Christian School. He serves part-time as a chaplain with the Michigan State Police as well as with the US Coast Guard. Dr. Hansen is also an adjunct professor at a Michigan University.
Dr. Jim Schettler is the Vice President of Student Affairs at West Coast Baptist College. In addition to his many years of service in Christian education, he also served as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Santa Maria, California.
Matt Williams serves as the president of the Mid-America Association of Christian Schools and has been involved in Christian Education for nearly 30 years. He and his wife live in Independence, MO and attend Tri-City Baptist Church, where his son Kevin is the pastor. Matt has a passion for young people and a desire for the development of leaders in the next generation.
Bryan Samms serves on the Bible and Evangelism Faculty at West Coast Baptist College. He graduated from Bob Jones University in 2001 and Heart of America Seminary in 2003. He served as a full-time evangelist for 5 years prior to working with WCBC. Brother Samms has preached in many youth conferences, revival meetings, evangelistic crusades, camps, chapels and youth rallies across America. Bryan and his wife, Angela have been happily married for seven years and have a two-year-old daughter, Adrianna.
Evangelist Todd Sivnksty and his family have traveled in full-time evangelism since 2000. Prior to beginning his evangelistic ministry, Todd served as a youth pastor in Pennsylvania and as an assistant pastor in Longmont, CO. Today, Todd is available to preach for churches, camps, conferences, church and school retreats, VBS outreaches and Christian school chapels. Todd and his wife, Krista, have two children and are based out of Starr, SC.
Morris Gleiser was born and raised in a Christian home. he received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of six through the influence of his godly father and mother. After attending Bible college, Morris went to minister as youth pastor at Providence Baptist Church in Riverview, Florida. After 14 years in Florida, Morris became the director of West Branch, part of the Bill Rice Ranch, in Flagstaff, Arizona. In 2000 Morris entered full-time Evangelism work.
Ben is a full time evangelist and is currently the president of Ask or Think Ministries, which has taken him to three continents and over half the United States for conferences, revival crusades, camps, retreats, and college and school chapels. In January 2012, he orchestrated the 1-1-1 Purity Matters conference, which was attended by over 1000 teens and youth pastors. Although Ben connects with all age groups, he has a passion and love for teenagers and desires to see them make commitments for Christ.
Derek Thomas grew up in the Kansas City. When almost 12, he was convicted of sin and came to Christ. During college, Derek gave his heart and life to the Lord. After graduation, he married Julie. Derek and his wife surrendered to missions in 1995. In April of 1997, they bagan Vilnius Bible Baptist Church and Bible Baptist Institute in Vilnius, Lithuania. In August 2007 the Thomas’ took what is now Faith Baptist Church of Raymore as a church plant or re-start, where they currently are faithfully serving. Derek and Julie have been married for 25 years and have three sons.
Carol and her husband Jeff have served in Camp and College Ministries for 30 years. They have recently moved from Houghton Lake, MI to Charlotte, NC where her husband has assumed the Director of Project 14 Global Missions. Building Hospitals, Colleges, and Camps all over the world. Carol is involved along side of her husband and works in various areas. The Kahls have three children.
Bruce Humbert is a Buckeye, saved at the age of eight, and baptized at Akron Baptist Temple. The Humbert family planted Sauk Trail Baptist Temple on the south side of the Windy City when Bruce was a freshman in high school. After graduating from BBC in 1974 and marrying his high school sweetheart, Laurie, he served as youth director in Wichita Falls, TX for 15 months. Bruce and his family returned to STBT in February 1976, where he served as youth/music director before becoming pastor May 22, 1989. Bruce & Laurie have five daughters and eleven grandchildren.
